Had some time to kill in the city and checked out a few of my favourite shops – one of which is Corky St Clair. And I want this necklace soooo bad.

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree..

I think I’m feeling festive, guys.. Lore had a brilliant idea with our Christmas tree – basically a branch from the park and spray painted it silver. Have also splashed out a lot on gifts this year and think I might be addicted to buying Christmas gifts now!! Gosh, looking at our tree and the gifts under it makes me really excited now :)

Sunday

The Rainy Day sale at Misty was unreal! There were many pretty clothes! I was too caught up with the sale that I didn’t take any pictures. Gosh. I can’t quite explain the thrill I get from sales and the hunt for great clothes at a really good price. I tried on a whole heap of clothes but only ended up with a silver silk top because everything else blew out of my budget. Wasn’t an absolute sook about it, probably cos I took it as fate and was looking forward to checking out the Design Market at Fed Sq!

Pretty lights at Fed Sq

Pretty lights at Fed Sq, on our way to the Design Market - I would love this to be in my room!

The Design Market wasn’t as busy, but that’s probably cos we were there 2 hours before closing time. I bet it was chockers in the morning. There were a few new stalls which was really exciting to see. Then there were the favourites that are always there. I always loved Third Drawer Down. I’d love to fill my house with their stuff. I am mostly in love with their pillowcases – they are just so beautiful. Tried snapping some pictures but they really aren’t that great..

I wan’t expecting to buy anything from the market – was actually thinking it’d be more of me browsing, admiring and telling myself I’d buy this-and-that when I’m rich. But in the end, I bought a few things. Funny how I always end up shopping when least expected!

Here are my buys from the market, nothing over the top. Infact, some of them I got cheaper cos it was close to closing time! Yay!

Bad shoes are not fun

I decided to stroll around the city for a coupla hours after our massive graffiti clean up in Richmond which wasn’t a good idea.. I was wearing the worst pair of boots ever made. Well, that or my feet just aren’t compatible. Now I’m exhausted from a pair of bad shoes. But not all at loss – I ended up buying a pair of fingerless gloves/mittens(?) and a jacket. Clearly essentials for winter. A neccessity, guys.. A necessity!

Material oh material

Disregarding the fact that I may be judged for my want of material things, I REALLY REALLY REALLY desire for the iPhone 3G S. Everyone’s told me to wait and I’ve waited.. and it’s finally here! Aaaaa..! Then there’s the Alice Euphemia garage sale, TV sale and Rainy Day sale. Oh and the Design Market. So much to spend but where’s the money?! Show me the moneeeeeeeeey!
